Simon Bolivar

Simon Bolivar was born on July 24, 1783. Simon Bolivar is know as The liberator of South America. He fight for the freedom of the people in South America. Revolution in South America for the independence began in 1806. Simon Bolivar was the hero of the South American Revolution. After being defeated by Spanish forces repeatedly, Bolivar found a success in Colombia during the years of 1819 and 1820. Bolivar equipped with a strong force, took away Colombia from the Spanish forces. This marked the start of the success of the South American Revolution. He and his forces the marched into Venezuela territory where in June, 1821. His forces comprehensively defeated the Spanish colonial forces
Ecuador and Bolivia were liberated at
Bolivar's behest by Antonio Jose de Sucre. His forces liberated Ecuador in 1821 and moved on the small region upper Peru which was still under colonist rule. He defeated the Spanish force in the region, and the newly liberated country chose to call themselves Bolivia in honor of Simon Bolivar.

He made his base in Argentina and started gathering on army. After conquering the Spanish colonist force in Argentina. He moved on the Liberated Chile and the later Peru. Also he was president of Greater Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Peru, and The Republic of Colombia.When he was 47 years old he die in December 17, 1830.
